Reiki (pronounced Ray-key) is a Japanese word that translates as universal life energy. The energy is inherent in all of us; however, sometimes we have energy blocks causing negative reactions in us.
Reiki practitioners have the ability to focus and direct this energy by simply placing their hands on the energy centres (chakras) on the body of the person receiving the treatment.
Reiki is:
- a powerful natural system that unlocks the inner flow of vital energy within the sender and receiver
- a way to synchronize, to energize and to balance the energy centres in the body known as chakras increasing health and vitality
- a way to control anxiety
- a powerful tool for personal development and spiritual enlightenment
What to Expect at Your First Visit
A Reiki session is conducted with a laying of the hands gently on the energy centers. Angeline will go through the Chakras first on the front of the body then the back. Each position is held for 3 - 10 minutes depending how much is needed. Reiki experiences vary from person to person, but most people feel wonderful as Reiki encourages people to let go of negative feelings, anxiety, and fear.
